DIY dip nails takes practice. You have to figure out how to do thin layers of base and allow dry time and brush off excess powder between layers. After activator you have to really buff/sand them to make them smooth before top coat. I use an electric nail drill for smoothing and also removal. If you’re willing to put in the effort and proper nail prep you can get great results. I have had them on two weeks now and I have no chips or cracks. This kit is low cost and a good starter for practicing
