This is my 2nd time purchasing this remover. I had 1 coat of base, 2 coats of color and 1 coat of top. Prior to putting the remover on my nails, I did not file (even though you're supposed to) the surface of my nails.Pictures with "1" were taken at the 15 min soak mark. Pictures with "2" were the first pass (at about 30 min) of just pushing off the polish without scraping my nails; pictures with "3" was after the 2nd coat of remover (I only applied the 2nd coat to the areas that still had polish and not to the entire nail) and that was at about the 40 minute mark and then using the tool provided with the kit, to push off the remaining polish.I applied the remover to my left and let it soak while I was working (on the computer). In all, it took about 40 minutes but I didn't have to scrape my nails. While there was a little bit of reside left on them (which I think you can see if you zoom in on the pics), that left-over will come off easily when I file/buff the nail before adding color again.Pros:* Price is pretty good - I got about 12 uses out of the first bottle I bought* Least amount of damage to my nails (because gel polish can't be good for nails to begin with, right?)* Easy to use* Pretty quick - if you file the top coat of polish, you can probably get away with saving about 10 minutes on the entire processCons:* this stuff smells like gasolineI would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a way to remove gel polish without ruining their nails.
