Description
**EASY APPLICATION:** 1. Remove the cuticle, trim the edge, polish your nails and make sure they are dry and clean. 2. Apply base coat - cure with LED or UV lamp. (UV lamp for 1 min, LED lamp for 30 secs) -It is normal for a base coat keep stick after curing- 3. Apply 1st thin coat of polish - cure. (UV lamp for 2 mins, LED lamp for 30-60 secs) 4. Apply 2nd thin coat of polish - cure. (UV lamp for 2 mins, LED lamp for 30-60 secs) -- Apply 3rd coat if necessary. 5. Apply top coat - cure. (UV lamp for 2 mins, LED lamp for 30-60 secs) 6. Wipe nails with rubbing alcohol to remove residue. HOW TO REMOVE: Step 1: Soak cotton pad with acetone. Step 2: Wrap around each nail with tin foil leave for approx. 10 minutes, check if ready if not leave a few minutes more. Step 3: Use an orange stick or a cuticle pushier to remove softened gel. Peel off easily? 1. Remember to cap the nail edge when we apply the color gel. 2. Remove the cuticle, trim the edge, polish your nails and make sure they are dry and clean. 3. We can not have the polish attached to skin or cuticle otherwise it will be easy to peel off. 4. Do not apply overmuch base coat or top coat and, the thinner, the better, or it will get the gel shrunk and peeled off. Not dry? Please check the wattage of your lamp. Are you only curing for 30 seconds? We suggest: Base coat cured for 30 secs. Gel polish each coat - 60 secs. Top coat - 60 secs. Wipe with alcohol cotton ball. Too Thick? Applying every thin coat is the key , make sure the brush don't have too much on it before starting the strokes.

Update- over two weeks and this polish has not peeled or chipped. Still looks shiny.I have never done my own nails before and this is the first gel polish I have ever bought. It came with the 6 colors shown. You need a base coat and top coat to go with these colors and I thought it came with those. When I received the product it did not. I went back through the product page and yes it says it does not come with it. That was my fault. Letting you know so you won’t be disappointed like me that you have to wait another week to paint your nails. So I orderEd the gellen base and top coat to go with it. When I received everything I gathered all my supplies, unboxed everything, watched two YouTube videos, gathered more supplies that I found I would need from said videos, read two blogs and then started polishing. I used an 80watt led light to cure. The lamp took 30-60 seconds to cure each coat. I used 2 minutes on the top coat just to be sure it was dry. It was perfect! This took about 60 minutes. Now that I know what I am doing it should only take about 30-45 minutes next time. I chose the pink glitter color as glitter colors seem to hide mistakes a little better and I have never done this before. The color is a lot lighter than the picture depicts, but still looks great. Perfect for spring. It came out super shiny and smooth and really looks professional. I would suggest taking time to research the correct way to apply the polish. Those who say it didn’t cure or peeled, are probably applying it wrong or not prepping their nails correctly. It should be tacky after every coat and a cotton ball with some alcohol shined up the top coat really nicely. I already ordered some more colors. Some colors were less pigmented and needed more coats. The red needed five coats to be anywhere near opaque, and the dark purple needed four. The black needed three, but you can get away with two. The greys and neutrals in this set were perfect with two coats. The trick to getting any gel to stay on your nails is to properly prepare the nail (rough up the nail, dehydrate with rubbing alcohol), use a good ph bonder/primer and use a good base and top coat. The black worked well and looked amazing for about a week and a half, with no chipping and was a perfect base to my blue holocrome powder. My nails grow fast so I usually take of gel after about 10 to 12 days but I bet it would have lasted a good two weeks.Im only giving 4 stars because of the extremely sheer red.Overall a good deal.First time gel nail polish user here and it was an easy process. I followed all the steps with using a dehydrator first, applying a base coat, 2-3 coats of polish, and a top coat. I did apply a thin coat each time and cured with every layer. After applying the top coat and curing, I used rubbing alcohol to remove the tackiness and they came out beautifully. I wash my hands often and this lasted about two weeks and a half before it started chipping.I purchased the classic elegance, classic nude, and neon series. I included a photo of the swatch sticks sample in natural lighting and against a hard surface so you can see that some of the colors (especially in the nude series) are very similar, but some are more sheer than others. The price for the set is almost the same as purchasing one OPI polish at the store. Although the bottles are small, you get a variety, and I would say it’s a good value for the money!Hope this helps!Great product for the price! After figuring out I should file my nails before applying, the gel polish definitely lasts a very long time and is easy to use & remove! I even use it over the top of glue/press on nails, which works just as great when using the same steps of filings nails & press-on’s first. To increase longevity, be sure to “wrap” polish around the tip of the nail too. Seriously was a life changer for me after I discovered filing the top of nails first!I’ve bought several other kits & colors for myself, and even gifted a set to my sister-in-law who loves it too! Highly recommend giving this a go if you love having the nail salon look without the having to pay someone else to do them for you!*Glitter polish is from another set, but other two colors are in this kit!I ordered two sets of the same colors, specifically looking for the silver glitter gel polish. Unfortunately didn’t receive it in either box. This was the first time I ever painted my nails with gel nailpaint. I have always used regular nailpaint which starts chiping in 2-3days. This nail paint actually stays maybe not as long as salon. The first time I painted my nails I used very thin coat as suggested but the paint didn't spread evently especially top and bottom coats as a result the nailpaint chipped on the edges. I took it off after 8 days and it still looked very shiny and pretty. Second time I took time and carefully applied each coat not too thin or thick and cured each coat under uv light for 60 seconds. The bottom coat feels stickly even after curing. Whereas when you cured top coat the nails feel very hot under the light. But after curing under light you are all set immediately. As for the paint itself you have to apply 2-3 coats to get desired color. It's been 4 days after my second application and the nails look very shiny and not a chip. The purple shade is day one and day 7. While red is day 4 of application.Note: I have dotted each bottle with the nail paint to know the color inside of the bottle since the bottles are opaqueVery nice product from Gellen
